What did you do to your van today?

Not in the van but I am today hand sewing the covers for the MH seats as the van has gone for MOT and it’s a job I didn’t quite finish.

I fitted a 'c bar' along the roof of my T5 so now I can slot in my new tarpaulin. Once the tarpaulin was up I then felt the need for bunting so got out my sewing machine and ran some up with scraps of material. :)
Your covers look nice & cheerful. :)

Your bunting looks nice & cheerful. I made some but have never used it as there didn't seem many others doing so. Seems to be a lot of led lights now.

Took my van back for a second time to get an Airbag ECU replaced. Fiat had sent the wrong part first time. The journey is two and a half hours each way. My dealer didn’t charge for the labour involved as a good will gesture. Donaghey’s of Letterkenny. Widely praised for their customer service, and proven to me once again, so I bought a spare water pump for reserve, one good turn etc.

I guess the catch is not central in the hole when screwed in fully, if it's what I'm thinking of...
I'm sure that's right. I didn't take the whole thing out to check - I just got it reliably working.

i have just finished cleaning inside the van getting it ready for my next trip its a bit early but its a nice day here and mrs pagey is sorting out her clothes to take just the outside to wash now

Why does the website do that? The triplicate post thing?

That was one of the first things I done when I got the van .To tight to get through when I had them recover the guy filled the sides in with sponge well pleased the way they turn out.View attachment 43602

I’m the same as Annie about not knowing you could take the arms off not the derrière bit though!? It would be so much better without them

I have been putting it off since I bought the van in November but today decided that the towbar just HAD to come off. I will never tow with the van and have no intention of adding a bike rack, so... Off it came!
Was not a bad job and the bolts and nuts all unscrewed easily. I have left the 7 pin connector still wired up and tucked away behind the bumper for now. I might keep the towbar as it might be of interest to a prospective buyer at some point in the future? But I might offer it for sale on the bay...
The whole lot came to around 32kg which is a useful addition to my available payload.

So, what did YOU do to your van today?

K ;)
Went to Lidl.

This morning I descaled our Truma4e boiler with citric acid and cleaned out the water storage tank.

John.

I don’t know, just seems to affect a couple of members. We normally spot them and delete the extras.
I wished it worked with tenners...

It's probably an old iPad thing?

K ;)

I went in to close all the cupboards ready for Malcolm taking it to get some new tyres on tomorrow morning
