Weather Report..................

Alternatively can you get at the pipework and electrics, cut and pull back and fit a new sureflow pump in a more accessible location for the future ..... back on thread its been a pleasant if somewhat cool and breezy day in Cheshire.

I have considered relocating the pump, Dave, but I'll probably still need an access hatch to get to the existing pipework and cabling.
And there's frankly not a lot of options for relocating the pump. Once the access hatches are in place then future maintenance should be a lot easier.
If the moho designer had worked for me it might have been an uncomfortable experience for him/her!
Again, thanks for your input. It's very thoughtful of you.

Thanks for that, Dave. I'm still thinking through the options at the moment. Removing the water tank will mean removing the Truma heating unit and......
Well, you get the picture. I can actually see the other side of where I'll probably cut panels, so I should be able to miss the bits and pieces that I need to miss.
Thinking cap on for a while longer, then measure 9 times and cut once!
Thanks again for your input - it's appreciated.

When I was 20 I knew I was capable of successfully completing anything,

Now I'm a little older (rather a lot older) I have decided that finally I should pay others to do jobs that I would have leapt at. No more lying under a vehicle propped up on bricks, no more heaving out an engine with a block and tackle, and no more lying on a mat in the winter, etc., etc.

I'll still analyse and resolve little problems as I travel, but inviting others to repair things that I previously would have tackled with gusto, is empowering.

Perhaps as I grow older, I'm simply becoming lazy.

Herts has blustery winds of about 70 kph at the moment with a grey sky which is managing to hang on to it's water.
Later today we're expecting the wind to drop and the sun to peek out.
I've got a walk booked for this afternoon, so I guess it's a blustery bike ride this morning?

Colin :):):)
