Wind's still with us, with occasional short sharp showers

Frost first thing has given way to blue skies and sunshine

After a couple of miserable days, weather-wise, its still grey and overcast here in west Wales but the wind has dropped.

It's something I 'spose....

Wall to wall sunshine early on, but some showers due later. I saw the forecast for next week, and a large area of high pressure is due to take up residence over the UK. ️🌧

Herts has blustery winds of about 70 kph at the moment with a grey sky which is managing to hang on to it's water.
Later today we're expecting the wind to drop and the sun to peek out.
I've got a walk booked for this afternoon, so I guess it's a blustery bike ride this morning?

Sunshine and showers. More sunshine than showers. When the showers do come they are short heavy ones with hailstones. Feels colder then the 5 degrees my thermometer is reading.

It's 6°C and dry at the moment in Hertfordshire with just a murmur of a breeze and the sun gathering it's loins.

5.3° Wind whistling round the house again. Sunshine and showers. Showers not as intense as yesterday - so far.

Broken light cloud.
Too draughty for a mezzanine breakfast..
Had to retreat to the upper terrace
, It's more sheltered.
