What did you do to your van today?

Washed wheels on the Aire to remove brake dust from brakes on all 4 wheels after 31 days ascents/descents. There is/was a squeal from the brakes (the calipers have been stripped and freed off just under 12 months ago, so hoping that the dust removal will restore quiet braking). Also checked tyre pressures for the first time since leaving home at the beginning of March - still sitting at original pressures

The amount of dust that came off with just a wheel cleaning brush and cold water with a dollop of shampoo was amazing, and evidence of the work the brakes have done on this trip!

Just Shampoo ..... no Conditioner 🤣🤣🤣

No, because it promises added lustre ... :ROFLMAO:

Anyway, it appears to have worked, with the squealing brakes now silenced.

Should have tried a bucketful for the local intelligentsia who were playing football between the M/homes at 2:20am until 3:00am today ... 4 of them, with a collective IQ of 3 ... Reminded me why we still bother with birth control

Well Sam it looks like you're never going hungry.
Lovely looking pan set, we bought the black nonstick set years ago and gave never regretted it.
I Didn't realise the lids were not part of the set, the coverS are for sealing the pan with any leftovers, Lids ordered now, The larger set was also less than the smaller set hence why so many.

Absolutely true but they can't override the computer, they can only test as per the last MOT(they can re class at first test) or log book definition

I will speak to my man if there's away round it he will know,
PS where are you based
Based Lincolnshire, booked in for a class 7 on Tuesday. The tester/owner this morning agreed it is a total contradiction of the ministry guidance, but as the screen said you can't test it,and offered no options ,he could not get to. the next screen, crazy especially if I had converted before it's last MOT(its first) he would have been able to change it on the system

Took the wheels off and moved them around to get all the fiat badges level for the summer. Note to self try not to wheelspin.20240411_124739.jpg
