Bought a Foldable Caravan Step from Aldi in their centre aisle Specials Section - £9.99. 150Kg load capacity but folds down to 50mm-60mm, so easy to store ehind a seat or similar. The Promo is geared towards the Easter [Tent] Campers, so there's a 10m EHU Lead, but £19.99. Silicone Foldable Buckets £4.99 and drainage trays etc

Just finished fitting side and rear view cameras, 4 way monitor and have now relaced the long arm mirrors with short arm ones...... and I can still see down the side of the motorhome without the cameras. Makes you wonder why they fitted long arms in the first place. I've wired up the cameras so when I indicator, the relevant side camera comes up full screen.

Got the MAN through its MOT today then taxed it for a year. Now to get it finished so I can go explore some islands. Just looked and the big van needs an MOT in two weeks it’s never ending. I’d be cheaper staying in 5 star Hotels.

8327 miles since last April, and it would have been more had we not cancelled the November trip to Spain because of the floor delamination repair!

Just hope we can get our flat sold quickly and get some money in the Bank to finance the trips we hope to make this Summer ...

Van booked in for mucky auld Tom on Saturday

Cut and fitted a rubber section in front of the electric step to stop all the sand and road dirt getting in the mechanism
Mot booked for the 8 th, 20.000 miles in 18 months , be done another 6 thou before we are back in september, thatll be 26000 in two years

Yesterday on N/S of van I took off the rear arch cover and front skirt corner, tried to remove step trim but it looks like its fitted under door appature so I got it loose enought to scrape all the different crappy silicone sealers off in place.
Once everything was cleaned I resealed and reattached (photos will follow once finished).
Not refitted rear corners as I'm repairing and painting them, also using front corner as paint match today when I go to get paint.
