No, it runs beautifully quiet once it has warmed up and is just maintaining the temperature. There's no smoke either, as it should be if properly set up so no one needs to worry if they are parked next to me.

I was joking. It’s me you don’t want park next to well if you like country music at 3am you’ll be alright. Glad you got your heating sorted.👍

Just looking at street view of BCC, Presumably we go in through the main gates in the curved brick wall with the Blackpool Cricket club sign? Or is there a back entrance for us?
Or was that asked 100 posts ago? :)

Digging through a pile of prehistoric bakelite 78's (and I mean things with labels such as "Electrically Recorded") I found in the garage today I found a few 45's. One was Duelling Banjos. Yes I do like country music. If they aren't American you might even be able to understand some of the words which is more than you can say for anything rap. bleurrgh
Back to the subject, do they accept Bus Passes in Blackpool - presumably they do, but I think there is a promenade bus. Is that chargeable? My dad went there many many years ago and it took him 2 hours to find any lunch that wasn't fish and chips.

Hi Jeff, due to child problems (he's bloody 31!) we'll be leaving on Monday instead of Tuesday so only 4 nights for us please. Hope that doesn't cause any problems. Thanks, Mark & Sophie

Also sorry Jeff, we will only be able to make 4 nights, arrive friday and leaving monday. Thanks, Andrew & Alicia

Not got the gas heating reliable enough to be sure, so will have to pass on this meet sadly :(

You can use a bus pass on the buses but not on the trams, unless it's issued by the local authority.
They also charge for dogs on the buses and trams in Blackpool!

That shows how much my brain is addled. I did mean arrive Friday, Leave Monday but now I have taken my wooly gloves off and my fingers are available, that is three nights.
Assuming the snow is traversable . . . . . .

Can I ask why it doesn’t say confirmed next to our name on the attendance list, have I missed something as we have already confirmed we should be going and the size of the van ? Thanks

Hello, and sorry I have not confirmed you, I have been extremely busy running the Goosnargh rally and not had time to update any rally threads, I know you have confirmed and that you are attending, See you at Blackpool 👍

hi, sorry, but as my previous message I will not be able to attend due to heating potentially not working and much too cold to risk that :( (just saying again as still has "confirmed" by my name and don't want to reserve a space and stop another possible attendee).

Hi Jeff,
Unfortunately, Joanne has tested positive for incoming infection.
So we're grounded again. She's back to Manchester Royal Infirmary on Friday 🤷🏻‍♂️
So sorry, we had such a great time at the weekend, it was great to meet and make so many new friends over the past few days at Goosnargh.
But we will get through it...and get the wheels turning again 🤞🤞
Dave and Joanne
