Yeah all 199 up and a faster 199 doon really enjoyed going round the chateau ,had a good chat with a WelshmanNice 1 ? glad you got there.
Did you do the steps opposite the aire ?
We are just north of there now at Bonneval.
Drove up through a hell of a storm, down to 10mph on the peage coming here.
Heavens have also just opened here making everyone run for cover.
Terrible forecast for tomorrow, seriously fed up.
We have spent a few nights there, the road to the aire (Le Port) narrows but it has never been a problem, quite a few years ago probably about 1998 we were leaving there because of a bad storm, we came down Le Port along with several other vans and we had no choice but to turn into Quai d'Aval on the right (red arrow), we all parked there while the sapeurs-pompiers were trying to stop cars being washed into the water on the entrance to the harbour (where the black arrow is), they dragged a few cars away but two went into the water and sank, the waves were very high coming down from the sea and because the harbour is closed at the end the waves had nowhere to go, we had to stay there until low tide when we were allowed to leave, it was more exciting than frighteningSt Valery en Caux is not far away if you've time and a good spot but check the weather ( wind ) as you are right on the end of the entrance to the harbour and very exposed.
Friday afternoon from dieppeWhen do you sail Gordon ?
We have the ferry booked friday morning with a free " Club Lounge " upgrade.
Not been in it before, well see what the freebies are like.
Been a walk with mutt cool but dry bright am hereWell, at least it's dry this morning but it's blowing a gale and bloody freezing.
4 others on this aire all complaining like mad about this crappy weather.
We expect this as summer weather back in Blighty but not over here.
Not far off the longest day then the nights start drawing in again ready for winter.
At least you can watch the barges go bye.?Now at Watten and it's like the middle of fcuking winter.
Blowing a gale and pissing it down.
Thought I recognised you and Fiona in this video.
You are such a plonker that was fi and her toy boy
