Thank you! What a shame though we don't have an Aldi, we usually call in to the one near the dentist (the only NHS one taking on patients when we moved here 7 years ago) but that isn't going to happen anytime soon.

Yes, ordered 36 bottles and a packet of paracetamol in hope of someone finding it funny lol.

Also mostly ordered 6 off each type in the hope it would be easier to pick whole cases, but they all came as individuals.

A German red wine ?

This was really very nice with our Sunday roast. Bit like Pinot Noir and not as hefty as Cabernet. From Aldi and bottled in Cochem.

I find Lidl have some very nice Portuguese wine at a good price.
As our freedom to travel has been rescinded, I'm tending to buy that: I used to buy it all in France, which was of course - french wine!

Tip for REC and anyone here in Portugal.
Because of the lack of tourists, there's plenty of fresh, quality wine sloshing around .
Surpluses are being sent to the bag,- in -box plants.
Dow, Douro and Setubal especially.
At 8€ for 5 litres, you can't go wrong.
