Well it ended up as a mixed day in Norbury with some heavy showers punctuating the sunny intervals. The wind didn’t die down until this evening, calm now.......

It's hot in Herts when the sun has an uninterrupted view of the countryside.
Which, I'm delighted to report, is fairly frequent right now.
At times like this it's difficult to believe the forecasters when they say we'll be experiencing something quite different in the coming few days.

Great pics Dave, any fish?

No another blank unless you count a dace which decided it was hungry. Plenty of trout around, including some easily in double figures but just too much natural food at the moment and the water temp is still high. My only consolation is that around 6 other fishermen also blanked ?. I’m only fishing early and late and I’ve been through the fly box a least twice ?? . Anyway we’ll give it another go tomorrow ????

We were forecast rain yesterday but never noticed any, blue and big white fluffy things and not much wind. Off to craft room now so will not notice any weather changes unless it snows.
