Yesterday was overcast and stayed dry, today we've had light rain so far with no sign of it clearing. You might remember some weeks ago I said the gardens and fields in Cheshire were desperately dry having had only 10% of the normal rainfall for April, well can somebody turn the tap off, its fine now !!

We would normally be turning up in Altrincham about now.
We're having to put up with this, instead.
33 degrees in the shade, on the south facing terrace
We're on the north side.

After yesterday's persistent rain, it is much brighter this morning with some, albeit short lived, SUNNY intervals ............

The temperature remains at about 12° whilst the rain varies between constant light showers and sudden short bouts of torrential stair rods.

Difficult to do anything meaningful without getting drookit.

Had a really nice day of sunshine other than about an hour or so of cloudy spell

Wonderful day here too, warm and sunny with just one brief shower. Even washed the van ready for Scarborough next week and gave the Xantia a little run out. A nice break from decluttering what has accumulated over 34 years!
