It's overcast in Newquay but it's not raining! It's breezy and about 11°C at the moment - and the temperature isn't expected to rise by much at all today.

It's sunny and dry in Newquay this morning with showers forecast for later.
Today I'll start pottering back to Hertfordshire with perhaps an overnight stop or two on the way. I rather fancy stopping at Davidstow airfield this evening.

After torrential rain & hail yesterday afternoon, and further rain last night, this morning has dawned with a clear blue sky.

It looks like East Sussex is going to be really lovely today.

Gye overcast here in NE Scotland, but feels clammy & close. Is this the start of oor summer? No surprise though, rain is forecast for later.

The Sun has shifted.
It was 43 degrees in the full sunshine, on the Upper Terrace.
Breakfast under the the shady Olive tree, on the the Mezzanine.... 24 degrees.
We've 5 days of scorchers to come, then 2 rainy days, bringing over 25 mm of rainfall.
Allegedly.

Again the showers avoided us on a very pleasant day. Looking good as we head South tomorrow.

It's 12°C, dry and sunny in Newquay this morning with lots of blue sky confidently predicted.
So I'll abide here for the day before heading eastwards.

It's currently 10° without a breath of wind and after heavy overnight rain, the glowering skies are starting to improve, and I suspect we can look forward to a pleasant day.
