Weather Report..................

Mostly sunny here today but the cold wind is making a mockery of the 13 degrees shown on the thermometer. Still its pleasant to look out at!
Update. The wind died down a bit and it has been lovely working in the garden this afternoon. Shame this weather is not to last as I'm off to a THS near North Berwick tomorrow.

Emergency dash from Aberdeenshire to Preston today in the car. Beautiful run down with sun for most of the trip and pretty warm with it. Going through Moffat (always go via the Devils Beef Tub road as it’s so nice) on the way down it looked really good as there were loads of folk sitting outside the pubs in the sunshine.

West Sussex was calm and mild first thing this morning. So I've crossed Hampshire, Dorset and Devon and am now temporarily residing on the north Cornish coast. There's been a few showers here but now it's dry with an onshore breeze.
This afternoon I watched my 6 year old Grandaughter on the local climbing and bouldering walls scaling to heights of about 8 metres.
One of us was initially quite nervous.
It wasn't the climber.

Colin 🙂🙂🙂

We understand your emotions, Colin.

Yesterday, one of our grand daughters had an operation. All is well, of course, but what I didn't expect to see was the amazing care of the NHS in providing a tiny electric car for this five year old to drive herself to the theatre.

To keep the thread on track, this evening has been absolutely lovely. The wind has dropped, and although there is now some thickening of the cloud, it is a perfect Spring evening.

It's been raining but isn't at the moment, here in west Wales. Give it time though..

I was really lucky yesterday afternoon to get all the lawns mowed etc as 30 mins after I finished, it hoyed it down!

Here in Newquay the sun is up with a line of cloud moving north east parallel to the coast but just inland:

The edge of the rain (green in the image) will hopefully stay just inland as it moves in a north-easterly direction.

Colin 🙂🙂🙂

Out of bed and walking, this lovely Spring morning.
1 mile hill circuit..40 minutes.
Breakfast under the parasol.
Forecast is for light westerlies and sunshine.
So it's now cloudy, with cool SE breezes.. and just a hint of precipitation
