Here in East Sussex it is 12°, overcast and dry.

The recent heavy rain has battered the peonies, in spite of the provided support.

The rain has stopped falling on Hertfordshire and there's patches of blue appearing overhead.
Phew!
I feel a bike ride is in order.

Same here in NE Scotland - too hot to work in the poly tunnel this afternoon so had to resort to a glass of cool rose wine in the garden instead!

13 degrees at 6am.. We had had to dig out a blanket, from the Winter stuff.
21 deg at breakfast, Sunny, light breezes. 35 in the sun..

Quite civilised, for the time of the year..
It looks like we'll be back to normal Summer weather, by the weekend.

It's 11°C in Hertfordshire with a clear blue sky and still air.
It looks like we're in for a couple of days of something very similar, so I'm off to West Sussex for the day.

If it dries a little more, I might even cut the grass.

Early morning rain has just stopped, doubt we will see the orange orb today .......... gardeners and farmers needed the rain but I doubt it was enough to soak in ......
