It’s been overcast but dry and mild enough for lunch outside in Blackpool today. A spell of rain has just started however, but we’re now cosily ensconced in the van.

Thanks Gordon, excellent time scouting the whole Fylde coast. Just got to be home long enough to finish clearing out 34 years accumulated things and then it will be down here asap.

Lovely day again.
We're joined for breakfast by a squadron of noisy, agile Azure Winged Magpies. A sure sign of Summer.
The bouncing bunnies haven't made an appearance, in the paddock below, this morning.
No wonder, with all the commotion above.
20 degrees in the shade.
38, already in the full sunshine.
Light breezes are a blessing.

In the Weald of Sussex, after overnight rain, it's dreary and wet, but 17°.

We are babysitting our son's dog, so we're probably going to get wet.

Set off in light rain from Blackpool which was much heavier en route at times, but now back in Glasgow and it looks set for a fine if cool evening. 🌧️
