Weather Report..................

Rain overnight and more throughout the day on the Yorkshire coast.
Don't tell us that you were surprised, Chris.
At least there's no Midges, Clegs or other nasty pests.

Looks like we'll be able to get our second jabs tomorrow..
They announced yesterday..
We were going into Tavira, anyroadup.
Cooler, breezes and light clouds today a bonus!

We are safely back to normal.

After heavy overnight rain, we enjoyed continuous showers through the morning, and a cooler 16° in East Sussex. More of the same later.

Don't have to worry about the water butts running dry. 💦

You are right, the South East has been strange of late. Yesterday I sat on the terrace in (censored) and sun bathed. Today I became drookit more than once, and this evening I put on a fleece.

To think that I missed this seasonal weather whenever I lived abroad.

SNAP ...... again 🙄had
Sorry, Dave and all those south of Manchester.
My son, in Altrincham finally got the builders to start.
Expect biblical storms, floods and tsunamis. They've already washed out the newly dug footings.

Meanwhile:
Unusual day here.
Unexpected clouds, strong breezes . 47 degrees in the full sun , all afternoon, on the south side, with gusty winds from the south and East.
On the north side, 25 in the shade, 31 deg, in the sun.
High clouds coming from the north and west, most of the day.
Winds westerly, veering easterly.

My head's spinning.
Time to call it a day and go inside.

It's grey, mild and dry in Herts.
And it looks as if it'll stay that way so it's the recycling centre, shopping .............and a bike ride for me today.

Yesterday I had three bad experiences on the bike including a van driver who took deliberate aim at me on a narrow lane. It was all-too-close and very frightening. Then a learner driver pulled out immediately in front of me on a roundabout and just kept going. And to add insult to near injury an idiot went at speed through a flooded section of road and covered me in a wall of filthy road water. Top to toe. Through to the skin.
Did I say that I cycle for exercise, pleasure and the benefit of the environment?

Colin :):):)

Good day to be sitting in an air-conditioned walk in jab centre.

All done and dusted.
Not looking forward to post- jab retail therapy.
It's breezy and not over warm. Max a gentle 31 degrees, by the seaside.
Fishy lunch, first, though.

I should say snap again ......... I promise that tomorrow will be different but maybe Paul's news about the builders will put the mockers on that. I should probably add to those living north of the border that we are due up there in 2 or 3 weeks time, given our weather luck so far this year, make the most of the current sunshine 😄
