We are expecting over ½ an inch of steady rain for the next 5 hours and strong westerly winds .

Coffee and brandy at home, today.
 
The rain came .

Forecast was spot on.

We are happy, so are the neighbouring farmers.

Cloudy intervals chilly 11 degrees when the sun goes .

Walked to the village bakery.. Nothing was said.

The coffees arrived with a large glass of brandy. Ahhhh !

Over 1/2 an inch of rain forecast tomorrow morning. If it comes, that will be job done, enough to last us 'til Autumn.
 
Again it was supposed to be dry today, but actually a bit of drizzle from time to time. Also it is very chilly.
 
As expected... Gentle,persistent rain. .

That's got the drought worries out of the way..

Lee is on a walking holiday in Portugal - think he might get a bit wet..
 
Dank wet and miserable in the north and that’s just my man ?
 
not good here (n, yorks) either.......I keep the curtains closed on days like this,,,,,,with fire, telly, computer, and some comfort food.........nice and cosy.
