Weather Report..................

We woke at our wild camp by the Loire at Saint-Dyé-Sur-Loire to a cloudy sky and expectations of being on the southern fringe of Storm Hannah:

......but the sky cleared allowing fine views of the traditional Loire boats as we meandered downstream:

.........and it stayed that way to our wild camp for this evening on the Cher about 6km west of Tours:

Storm Hannah really hasn't happened by La Loire.

It started off this morning fine then later on we had some slight drizzle but nothing to bad tonight it’s rather chilly ?

It'll be 25 degrees plus , gentle breeze.
Alas, I'll be on hospital visiting duty.
Jenny literally conked out, mid afternoon. Very efficient ambulance crew think it's probably the new medication.

Just me, and a large warm brandy . Sitting on the terrace. Musical accompaniment, by frogs, owls and crickets. Watching a chameleon using the shadow of the light as camouflage, picking off unsuspecting moths.. Fascinating.
Back from the hospital. She's conscious and more comfortable..All piped up.

They suspect an imbalance between the cocktail of new drugs and the existing ones.
I'm hoping to get 8 hours unbroken sleep... The first for a fortnight..
