Weather Report..................

Hertfordshire is sitting under a brilliant blue sky and basking in warm sunshine.
The leaves are moving under the influence of the slightest of breezes - and it's really good to be able to watch it all happening whilst sat here in the garden with a decent cup of coffee.
Bike ride?
Well, if you insist.
But it may have to wait until later once I'm bored with doing zilch.

Well it’s been a greyish sort of mild day in Cheshire, not many sunny intervals and breezy, but I did manage to go fishing and the trout weren’t too shy. I did manage to see my old friends with some new ones but they were trooping off into the distance before I could get a decent pic ...........

We have wonderful weather here in Herts.
More sun than a person deserves, a higher temperature than a person deserves - and far less wind than a person could reasonably expect in any 24 hour period.

Those charcoal tablets are working then Colin! Here in Cheshire it was another grey, breezy start, but on the way back from my weekly supply run across the river, the clouds started to break and it’s been a glorious afternoon, currently 22 degrees; hopefully setting out it’s stall for tomorrow. Tomorrow being another step towards normality as we are having the grandkids for the morning due to parents work commitments and no nursery/pre-school ..........

Lord knows when will see our grandkids, Dave.. No1 has just turned 15, his brother, 12.
They are talking about coming down by bus and train, if no flights.. Alone..!
Jenny's Diabolic Specialist recommends that we we stay put until November, if no problems arise...

Interesting times indeed Paul and who knows what will be normal in the coming months. From a Cheshire perspective, staying put sounds like good advice given the antics of the wider population. We have family working in a large reopened garden centre, unbelievable customer behaviour in the current circumstances, totally ignoring any social distancing, staff in tears at what was going on ........ if this is typical then this is not a good place for the more vulnerable of us to be at the moment. On a positive note, I hope you get to see the grandkids before November.
