It's nippy down here, too.
22 degrees at sun down.
I've had to put trakkie bottoms on and we have even had to come inside.
I've got me feet up on the settee, ..
First time since early May.

We started with full sun and it was very pleasant out of the northerly breeze, clouded up by early afternoon and by this evening ....... brrrrr, central heating clicked on at teatime

Think there's summat we're not being told...... saw a snow plough in a layby on our recent trip to Pastyland and followed a gritter on our way to Somerset.
Today we have sun and northerly breezes forecast... we'll see how true that is!

Mrs GMJ is making noises about putting the heating on or even lighting the wood burner tonight...and apparently putting a cardie on "just wont cut it"!

Well I lost that battle. Apparently I can't afford another divorce, so the heating went on yesterday...IN AUGUST!!!

Bright, sunny start to the day here again in west Wales. No doubt it'll be "freezing" later so the heating will be on again!

We'll be in the poor house at this rate....

Flying a kite yesterday up on Dunstable Downs was great in a variable but stiff breeze. The coming few days will allegedly have relatively still air, so I'm chuffed that I fitted in some kite fun yesterday.
Today it's bright here in Hertfordshire with patches of blue and an air temperature of about 12°C. It looks as though it'll be dry for the coming few days.
Mustn't grumble.
