Cooler breakfast under The Olive Tree. 28 degrees.

It would be Paradise, if only they could extinguish the massive wildfire, 30 miles to our Southeast. Luckily downwind of us. We can see the smoke.

The main roads to Spain are cut off.

Today has deteriorated from a pleasant start to chilly, overcast, with occasional drizzle.

On the brighter side, our eldest son's family visited, which was excellent.

The leaves on our silver birch are turning colour and the vegetables are slowing growth.
