Have you not got a smart charger at home to charge batteries, or is there not one in the van.

Took the van for fuel water topped up in container ready for a weekend at Haggerston 😩Berwick upon tweed

I washed mine yesterday, it was going a bit green with all the wet weather recently.
Obviously it'll get filthy on the trip to Goosnargh but that's life.

With the very cold weather coming in fast, decided to get round to fitting a heater vent into the cupboard where the water pump is as a precaution
First step - make a big hole .....

Second - fit a vent with an adjustable flap (so I can close it when the temperature is not approaching freezing

Third - connect the vent to the Ablemail 12V DC Room Heater

The Heater has a frost setting so come winter I can just leave it with that preset and should avoid potential frozen pipe worries.

I put a 400w heater in the van and connect the van ehu up to my garage, a timmer switches the heater on/of during early hrs around 4 to 6 when coldest time of the night, i can also do a remote switch controlled from the house, same as i can turn lights of and on from 50ft away.

First dry day today since coming back from Hereford so did an initial wash of the filthy Motorhome (too much driving in the mucky weather for two weeks :( ) .
Looking a lot better but will go over it again tomorrow or Tuesday to try and make it look properly decent (and not gone onto the roof at all to do that yet).

First time I have washed a vehicle and thought "getting too old for this"! Just so much 'real estate' to cover. The next wash I might just be supervising :D

Ditto, decent day and starting on roof, pressure washed the whole unit, roof was worse being covered in green gunge. Will go for it again this week with the soapy stuff.
