What did you do to your van today?

Removed the leaking Adblue tank, removed pump/control unit reasealed and refitted,tank back in van,will refill tomorrow...fingers crossed!
Also checked the scuttle to screen seal job I did a couple of weeks ago,left a single sheet of kitchen towel on top of engine Great result bone dry,after the recent "slightly damp" and breezy weather here in Lincolnshire .

Washing the Solar Panel was a priority, as well as checking that the various roof seals are OK [as per David Wildebus post]. It also extended to removing the moss from the Awning Rail and winding the awning out by about a foot to clean the mossy gunge from the front plastic rail, cleaning all the brake dust off the Alloys, checking the tyre pressures, cleaning under the bonnet and checking fluid levels, and checking/cleaning the drainage holes, especially the centre one

Today is Van repack, having stripped just about everything out to get rid of unnecessary kit and caboodle, so need time to ensure that everything is present and correct. Then we can set off and enjoy the trip, Lee

Measured up the awning for a wind blocker and ordered a 3rd support pole. Cleaned the summer wheels and checked the pressures in preparation to change over the winter wheels.
 
Put a new starter battery in yesterday, spent most of today cleaning one side of the van to get ride of the winter dross. Trip out tomorrow, so the van will be turned ready for the other side ........... maybe next week. The real pain is going to be cleaning the area over the windscreen which is badly oxidised.

You obviously haven’t seen the state of mine lol

It’s not been parked long enough in nice weather to do anything yet so I just keep getting it dirtier
 
I recently bought another 100w solar panel for my Jackery, storing one panel was ok, two panels not so easy, so I came up this, not ideal location at furthest wall within the garage, but very little other options, so a compromise.

White plastic electrical conduit.

Out looking at state of batteries, all good, then put on charge all usb torches and emergency brake down flashing tryangle, cant have enuff torches in ones camper.
 
MOT passed, with no advisories.

They asked why it was such a low mileage last year, and so I told them. That quietened the office down. 😄

Just a few more bits of hospital stuff for Yvonne (hopefully) and we'll be away again. 👍

We have an area about the same size as your garage, Terry. It's called the habitation area, and is messier than yours because of the accumulated washing up in the sub-divided kitchen area ... Small, but imperfectly formed ... :ROFLMAO:

Gas tanks full and stored securely in locker, prior to loading, leak detector applied to regs and joints within locker. Same for the internal isolation valves, checked for leaks.

Fixed a dip beam fuse on the relay, built in 2 more high ampage fused usb sockets to power the 12v vacume cleaner.
Then did all flued levels and fan belt looked at for wear and tension, then to hell with it so back in for more coffee. 😂
