Replaced starter battery bloody pain to get at drivers seat out and then access to remove battery ,battery changed but will need a hand from son to lift drivers seat back in as it is very heavy with turntable
£150 trade yuaso make good gurantee
If you have the original Ford seats then it’s a bit easier if you remove the seat with runners from the swivel base it’s just about manageable for me then.

After reading a few reviews on Water ingress onto Engine on the Ducato Model I've checked our Burstner & it looks ok ,but removing the Engine Cover I noticed that at sometime Water has got around the Injectors as there is slight Rust stains around them so I've sprayed this stuff around & see what it does, reading the Description it seems to be good stuff.

Drilled holes in the floor and squirted gunk into them followed by some dowels, does life get anymore exciting than this ?!! Also filled up before the fuel thingy goes up............herrumph

Gave the outside of van a good wash and then applied all over wet n forget, no more travels till next year so also removed cushions, throws, telly. Then I will go over unnecessary things in the cupboards.

Started fitting new LED replacement interior lighting, I'm doing away with all the old halogen lights or whatever they are, theres 9 to change but have to change wireing & remove cabinets to do some of them.
Also started to take TV mount / box / cupboard apart as I'm doing away with it and making a shelf like the newer of my model & fitting 3 usb sockets (C series) to hab 12v wireing and fitting bluetooth head unit to cab so it connects to phone.
Just trying to update interior a little.

I don't understand what some of that is but it sounds like some serious electrickery work being carried out there.

Checked the SOC of the Vehicle and Leisure Batteries ['VB' and 'LB'] after having to undertake a Mains Recharge some 2 weeks ago because of poor solar yield. LB is still 100% and 13.45v, whilst VB is 13.16v, being charged for 9 seconds in every 10 from the LB via the Ablemail AMT12-2. Then brought the delivery date forward with Camper UK to 28th November to drop the M/Home off for the floor delamination repair, in the hope that they may be able to start work a little earlier than the original 2nd December date. We need to be back in Scotland on that date for Day 1 of a kitchen refit - deep joy :ROFLMAO:

Roamer monthly 'Tech Newsletter' email arrived last night, with a detailed explanation of why heat pads can actually be dangerous. As an electronic numpty, the only bit I understood was 'using heat pads to thaw a battery from below is like trying to defrost a turkey in a frying pan - it just doesn't work' ... Siting the battery in the M/Home interior, on a raised platform to allow air circulation and to remove the battery from cold air bridging, and turning on the M/Home heating before temparatures plummet should stop the battery from freezing. If the M/Hom is in storage, the BMS will switch charging off automatically, and will wait for 8-10 hours for the M/Home interior temperature to rise slowly to the safe point where it can resume charging without causing cell damage
