What did you do to your van today?

Yes it’s 12/24v and the model number is SL-FF-215. I didn’t go for the performance upgrade but they do a retrofit cooling fan add on kit which they are sending me details of.

Looks good roger ! You should be able to create an internal vent and therefore block off your external fridge vents and stop some of the draughts

My initial temp repair was just some silver tape and insulation ! Was amazed how much warmer the Hymer was when that was done, even the oven got to proper bread making temperature

Yes , but i just removed a vent in the summer to let that out whilst standing

It also pits heat into the van in winter 👍 bonus

Jeff, you’ve got enough solar harvest to power a small African village!
I may have to consider adding extra panels, not sure yet.

One think I've found with my 110ltr weaco fridge is it won't run properly if it below 10 degrees in the van I don't know if all compressor fridges are the same Rog?

We should adopt the US system.
I don't actually know what the US system is but I think they can drive when they can reach the pedals, and never have to pass a test from what I have seen of their driving.
As firstly a scooter rider in 1966 with obviously subsequent falls on snow and in the wet, and then passing my car test in 1967, I would like in an ideal world for everyone to have to have a year's experience on a powered two wheeler before taking a car driving test. You learn so much about tyre-to-road adhesion, and how to observe car drivers movements, a lot of accidents and bad car driving would be avoided.

. . . . . .And another thing . . . . as someone once said. I passed my motorbike test in 1966 when I was 16. If I now try to get a motorbike insurance quote I have to fill in all the usual questions. They include :"What date did you pass your test?" How do I know what the date was? other than it was of course after 21 July 1966, my 16th birthday. I do know however that it was indeed 1966. So I invent some random November date in 1966. The Computer That Is Always Right And Must At All Times And In All Places Be Obeyed responds that I have put an impossible date in. It won't let me get a quote. So in order to get a piece of paper saying I am insured, I have to lie and put a date later than my 17th birthday. So because I have made a false statement in my insurance application, does that mean I am riding around uninsured? . . . . . . as if I care. :ROFLMAO:
