Trixie I had my presents a couple of weeks ago but Malcolm will treat me again! He mightn’t know it yet though..haha Sue I agree with you on that! Thanks Chris,how’s your mum doing?

Having the gearbox looked at this morning, There's a local garage that does the repairs themselves so i'll see what they say.
 
Well here I is still living & breathing, so that's a good thing (for me at least!)

Fair blowy here this morning. Got the monthly newsletter nearly finished yesterday and ready to email out to the gardening lot, then later today I'm off out to see about handing it over to a potential new editor - Yippee!

Been editing it for 5 years now and, although I've enjoyed doing it, I'm more than ready to hand the reins to someone else. Just hope they're not put off when they see what's involved and I'm left stuck doing it until they can find someone else... !!!

Hope everyone is OK. I'm gonna have to get used to posting in here as well as t'other side, aren't I? ;)

I hope it's not too big a job. I had the garage swap the gearbox from my old kangoo into my new kangoo after they'd managed to cock everything up and killed the old one, but no charge for doing so as they'd made such a mess of anything already. It's been a year for poorly vehicles, and not just me by the look of it!

Perhaps we sometimes forget the vehicles are getting older along with ourselves... :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Didn't manage to see him today as it was lunchtime before I got hold of him, so when he rang me he asked would I try again tomorrow. (n)

I have a feeling it may be Marie. I've driven it with a clunky gearbox for years but himself has decided that it will eventually let us down, thought that's what recovery is for,
 
Evening all as Marie says the vans are getting older as are we! Well I keep telling g/daughters that I’m only 30! ??I think it’s working...haha:ROFLMAO:
 
Morning all still having my rear end sorted but there is a great little cafe that does a fab flinglish opens in about 10 mins.
 
They said 2 weeks but they are trying to do it as fast as they can but they have to glue the bits back together then fabricate a mould mold mo (ah well you get it ) then pour the stuff into the m waiting for it to set is where the time is then they have to realise the rear bumper but it has to come completely off so they can check all the fixings behind it then they can reassemble everything and test that all the lights sill work and they haven’t disturbed a wire. I’m just glad I’m not paying by the hour lol they have 5 other motorhome in with similar or worse problems .
