Weather Report..................

A pleasant 21 degrees on the terrace, after a hot, sticky night. The weekly stagger back from the Pensioner's Treat was most pleasurable. We sat outside, until 11, sipping LBV Port and catching up with the radio schedule.
Clouds slinking in from the West, but we're assured that there'll be no rain.

It's breezy in Shoeburyness and sunny.
But then again the sun always shines when I'm with the Grandsprogs. There's a Cold War structure here which was supposed to prevent submarines pottering up the Thames to London:

......and lots of other wartime archeology. This was the location of a search light associated with a rapid fire sea defence artillery installation:

......which the Sprogs thought great fun at high tide:

And, of course, there's quite a lot of passing trade:

Needed sunglasses at breakfast until I got the top off my egg.
As the first soldier was being dipped, the clouds muscled in.
It's hot, clammy and ominous.
No rain forecast....
Don't use all the good weather up please, Dave.

It's dry, still and sunny back here in Herts.
So I'll catch up on some jobs around the garden before nipping off for a nice long bike ride around the lanes with a stop-off at a well known upper-crust food store.
