Elsewhere the sun was still shining on those Roman architects whose bath house is still standing (just), note the fine niche for the shower gel .........

Sadly its our last day, heading back to Cheshire tomorrow ..
Its been a day of opportunities Colin. On this morning's walk the tree was just lit up like a beacon from about 50 yards away just waiting to be snapped. Then, later after a pub lunch, I decided to go and see the narrow gauge steam engine as we'd kept hearing it all week and it seemed churlish not to actually see it. Afterwards, as the sun was still shining I wandered down to the beach only to find quite a few huddles of camera weilding gentlemen who, it turned out, were waiting for a steam excursion on the "real" railway, so I waited for its appearance. A good dayYet more brilliant photos, Dave.
I particularly like the shot of the tree.
