2024 France/Spain Tour.

Saw a beautiful old Renault 4CV parked up in Amboise today. Unfortunately I couldn’t stop to take a photo but that must be twice the power of your Citroen Bill?!

Hi Terry what sim are you using for data to send all these photos, Any help would be appreciated as I am coming over for 90 days later,

Hi GG, now back in France, back to RegLo @ 210 GB for €20 ideal if you are remaining in France 👍

That one work in Spain also, As I have no plans as of yet, The only plan I have is get off the ferry at Dieppe turn right and follow my nose
I think that you may find that Réglo Mobile has data roaming limits outside France.

As Tom said, RegLo card has limitations within Spain GG

Looking forward to late lunch, Omelette flavoured with Truffle, then washed down with a small glass of Walnut based Aperitif 😝

Collonges La Rouge is certainly worth the time to get here, although only a short trip from the A20.

One night on the aire would be suffice, and the old part of the village is less than a ten minute walk to the start the village, mainly flat if you have mobility issues

Rouge: all the old home are constructed from red stone, which reminded me a little of Petra, Jordan. The church dates back yo the 13th century.

Like many BVF’s, lots of eating options available, ice cream parlours, and the usual souvenir tat shops, these examples are housed within the historic buildings, which I guess were originally peoples homes, a few gites too. We’ll head back down tonight when it is not so busy.

Ps, every corner turned is a new picture waiting to be taken.

I was reading up about the origin of the PBV on Wikipedia the other week and apparently it was the mayor of Collonges La Rouge who kicked the whole idea off so I suppose it must have been the very first PBV. We were pretty impressed with it.

Can you send me the link please, Tony. I always thought they were known as BVF acronym.

You know full well that sending a link is beyond my capability Terry, unless you can give me step by step instructions in words of one syllable. However I seem to recall that all I did was do a search for Plus Beaux VillagesDe France and Wikipedia was near the top of the list that popped up on Safari.
