Annie’s big European adventure

Today The Yorkshire Wanderer visited the Chateau of King Francis1st, Chambord Chateau. It's no great surprise that it took 28 years to build - it's huge and the style is romantic in extreme:

At one time the Royal Stud was maintained at Chambord and today horses are still stabled there. We were lucky enough to see the horses being exercised in the grounds - the riders in period costume:

We're now settled at tonight's wild camp on the left bank of La Loire just 6km from Chambord:

Peaceful, picturesque and just a short walk to a boulangerie.

And I'm not walking to the boulangerie for her baguette and breakfast pain au chocolat in the morning.

Colin ???

I also admit I didn't see a sunned-out red traffic light until the last moment too. It was in the middle of nowhere.
My heart pounded for a minute or two after that one.

Colin ???
Well I’ll see your red light and raise you getting lost in a park going to visit a Château. ???
So far
Annie
Driven on the wrong side
