Greg’s mum has had some worrying MRI scan results and we might have to go down to Essex at any point in the near future, so can’t really have anything planned.

Hanging out on Ranoch Moor at the moment waiting for Monday to come and go. Hoping there won’t be as many vans about after that. Not normally here this time of year and it does seem to have gotten much busier.

Yeah the depot in Broxburn has loads o rental vans out and the north bound roads are bust with vans,caravans etc oh aye n motorhomes

Yes thanks Gordon, thought I had a slow puncture but when National Tyres took a look it was a cracked ali wheel. There is a specialist stainless and aluminium welding place on the outskirts that should get it done today so I have spare on at present. Back to get tyre fitted and wheel replaced once it’s done then move a bit further on. Was going to Mallaig but not keen on lots of vans and I think that is the NW500 route so may go up the Great Glen instead.
