Hi Sue and Martin, just noticed tony and jo's comment about their car and we were hoping to put a tent alongside our van as we did at Banham zoo last year. Do you think we will find room for a tent ⛺ to accommodate our teenage son and his friend?

There a couple of corners to the field so that would work by putting the tent to the rear of the van, just don't want the motorhomes spread too far apart for socialising and we need to be reasonably compact because of the car boot on the Sunday at the other end of the field - hope that makes sense

I'm going g to Lonbeech campsite after the folk festival and before Strawberry fields if anyone wants to join me. Its Camping in the forest so it's not wielding but the site feels a bit wild.Only cold water and waste dump. A decent 15 walk to the pub for those who need it. There are no lines of motorhomes and it's very peaceful.

I'm on the list, but I won't be able to make it until Friday until Sunday, hope this isn't a problem.

I may not be able to make this meet as I may have to do something else that weekend though I could maybe turn up for a couple of nights! Sorry for all the maybes!

Is the meet fully booked? In which case I should cancel it so as to let someone else take my place.

On the the other hand if the meet is not fully booked is it possible for me to come if I can and not come if I can't if you see what I mean. I will probably not know for sure until a couple of days before.

Confused Peter

It’s a large area so if we see you we see you, if we don’t we don’t ?

OO, in a bit of marvellous synchronicity I just heard that I dont have to do the something else so I can make it to the new forest - yippee. I will see you in Somerset next week!

The list of attendees is looking a little untidy right now, Sue.
I'm happy to help with the problem by having my name in position 9 or 29.
How's that for being community-minded and a down-right lovely person?
(I hope that's OK!).

Colin ???

The site is Strawberry Fields, the entrance is by the two bus stops and there is a big sign advertising the Sunday car boot sale.

This is in a field, water and toilets/toilet emptying. Pub in walking distance, and a vineyard. Fees are £7 per unit per night. Hoping to organise a fish and chip van for the Saturday evening, have failed so far. There will be a fire unless we have a super hot summer again, in which case it's not feasible. There is a bus to Brockenhurst/Southampton and Lymington which stops at the gate. For those who fancy venturing to foreign parts, the Isle of Wight Ferry is just under 4 miles away. There is parking for motorhomes in their overflow car park and we have the timetable and fare information. There is a very big car boot sale on site on the Sunday morning.

THERE’S A HUGE VERY POPULAR STREET MARKET IN LYMINGTON ON SATURDAYS. http://www.lymingtonmarket.co.uk/
