The heavy rain has arrived in the Gover Valley, Cornwall.
I haven't, however, got strong wind just yet.
Colin ???

It's once again mild in Cornwall, though the forecasters predict the end of the world as we know it ...…….
……… 80kph winds, heavy rain ...…..
So I'll leave for Hertfordshire .
Colin
.
Only 80kph..? That's just 50mph, in Sterling , Colin
We call that a gentle breeze, North of Doncaster.
Can't argue with any of that, Colin. That's not wot I 'erd abaht fings up norf..

Bloomin ' Eckers !
Where did that come from ??
A Hooly arrived at 2am ...No warning.. ... Talk about Rock 'n Roll !
We rarely use the hook up and were jarred awake by someone banging on the side of the van..... Tap, tap, tap.
Lowered the blind.. Nobody in sight....Tap Tap..
Then we realised it was the hook up flap ...flapping.
Chill Northeaster, our front. Sunny 20 degrees on the sheltered terrace.
The painters are slapping vinyl on .
We'll be in the van again tonight.
We had strong winds overnight in Cornwall with intermittent torrential rain.
This morning there's lots of debris from the trees along the lane, some of which would be very capable of punching a hole through a Moho roof if it were to land end-on.
For once I'd parked in a sensible location away from trees.
Phew!
