Just rain here this morning, 1 degree. Possible a few snow showers due later. ☔️☔️☔️
We may get out in the van for a couple of days tomorrow, probably the last chance for quite a while.

You're not far off the mark Lee! The hospital sent me home with a pack that included a sterile-wrapped plastic gizmo for the nurse to get the staples out... the pack said 'staple remover'... I swear you can get them in Rymans :ROFLMAO: It was 21 staples by the way :eek:

Freezing night and morning here but wall to wall sunshine, so no snow for us yet...

We're off to Porlock this weekend so I hope the weather stays as it is.

Followed up on your hint, Bill.
I passed the cable through a heavy elastic band and used the loop to hold the flap down.
Very effective... We had a calm wind free night.
So much for the promise of rain... light clouds and sunny spells., so far.
Next rain forecast, Thursday morning... At 3 am !
 
Well no cataclysmic weather for us either marie it was frosty this morning and sunny then just before dinner it melted its not cold today but we did have just a slight touch of rain and now nothing no wind and no snow!!

It's freezing here had to use a scraper to get the frost off the screen dun know what it's like outside


ok that was at 6:30 when i dropped the wife off at the hospital for a day op. sitting at home bored now. thinking i might pop in the shop

Deep frost here this morning but the sunshine's seeing it off nicely. We're due another -5 here tonight, so heaven forbid it rains later...
 
Gentle rain forecast for this afternoon onwards. Cloudy 10 degrees.. Breakfast indoors.
Looks like it might happen.
10 mm forecast for Friday night.. That should be a fair test of the roof repairs.
No sign of a bill from the builder.. Maybe he's waiting for the rain, too
