I actually felt my van aquaplane a little today scary stuff 60mph on a motorway with a 5 ton lump. Fair woke me up I slowed it down a bit and sat with the trucks they help spread the water a bit.
I know we needed some rain but yesterday made up for the whole of April, still raining this morning with a very blustery north westerly ........ not a day for gardening
Well the sun has made an appearance this afternoon if somewhat short-lived between the showers. Hopefully it will dry up as we head down to Oxfordshire later tonight ready for the van's expensive day of the year tomorrow ........ hab check, service, MOT and new alloy to hopefully finally cure a persistent very slow air loss. If all goes well, then heading over to Slimbridge for a couple of nights. Should have been longer but Val's mum has fallen and broken her hip so hospital visiting required.
The Kent coast is very attractive this morning, although the chill from the breeze makes the air temperature of 7°C seem much cooler as I sit here under the mainly blue sky with a cup of Taylor's Brazilia:
