We have a rather mixed bag of weather in Hertfordshire this morning with sunshine and showers - and it feels chilly despite it supposedly being 11°C.
So I'll renew the Moho insurance today.

We had beautiful sunny weather on the drive up from Scarborough until just before Hamilton. We knew we were getting near home when we began having to dodge the potholes on the motorway! It’s 7 degrees and raining now. 🌧

Drove the van from home to Penicuik today. Never stopped raining during the whole journey with spray everywhere. Cold as well.

Today we've benefited from heavy rain, light showers, blue skies and warmth.

Tomorrow we'll walk to a pub and enjoy a meal indoors, regardless of whatever the heavens throw at us.

...and the forecast is for no rain today too!

It's official though, with one week left to go in May it's now the wettest since records began in 1862. The wettest for nearly 160 bloody years!

It's light grey above Herts and a couple of showers are expected this morning but after that it looks as if we won't be seeing any sky water for a good few days. The wind is from the west and running at about 25kph.
Once I've finished sorting a couple of the lower marker lights on the Moho I'll try to get out and about on the Dawes Galaxy this afternoon.

It bloody rained!

Well it rained all morning, turned grey and blustery this afternoon, now patches of blue appearing; seems I was the only one braving the weather to go fishing but I did have company .......
