In Herts I woke to a thin layer of snow outside. A few more flakes have fallen since but not enough to change the landscape by much.
More snow is forecast this afternoon when I plan to go out so I imagine that's when things will become more interesting!

Just to think... We were begging for some rain, only a month ago.
Still need it though, so that the summer tourists can have their lovely cool showers and air-conditioning blasting away.
At least it's tepid, gentle rain.

Snowed quite a bit overnight, although we have a lot less than Annie.

I drove through quite heavy snow last evening on the way home and it was about two inches deep when when I went to bed.
This morning the snow has melted a little and it's altogether brighter than yesterday.
So I'll go for a bike ride.
