Weather Report..................

Not.quite a bucketful of rain overnight.
We're heading west, up into the hills , for a BBQ..
Lovely grey clouds thickening up. .
That should do the job.

Apart from the good food, brilliant company, exquisite surroundings , the
rain making attempt was a total failure.

Never mind, we'll try again tomorrow.

Mainly the same cast, augmented by new faces
Different venue and menu.

Warm night, no heating needed.

Evening all well the weather we've had today was glorious sunshine then earlier on tonight it lashed down now it's quite mild again funny weather when it's 12 deg's in winter ❄️ hope everyone's day has gone smoothly and you've had a good one ours has been noisy whirlwind tornado and wreaking Annie but happy!!! ?

Cooling down in Herts and right now it's raining hard.
Weather warning for snow in the next day or so!

I hope your Xmas Day has been enjoyable.

Colin ???

Brilliant Christmas Day thanks, spent indoors so the weather can do whatever it wants. Hope that you've had a good day too. Going out for a picnic tomorrow, with a glimpse of sunshine even a possibility.

Well just looked out and it's raining ☔️ again! Cleared up before but forecast for to get cold next few days!

Same here Jeanette, loadsa rain and getting cooler - makes you realise how lucky we are living here and not in some drought ridden country where pomegranates grow.

Looks like the hours of heavy snow we had forecast for later today is now forecast as rain and sleet. I do like the snow but in this case, I'm glad coz it makes things much easier at the Henley new years meet.

This is posted in error! (Please don't ask).

I trust your observation has been noted, Chris. Perhaps 2018 will be the year us UK residents experiment with smugness?

Colin ???

It's a clear blue sky and frosty here in Herts.
With snow forecast overnight or tomorrow.

Colin ???

Thanks, Laird. Looks like we'll be getting any that hasn't fallen on you. It's a pain to clear but the little boy in me still enjoys it!

Once I'd returned from visiting my elderly Mum in her care home at Leigh-on-Sea and come back around the M25 it was the usual late afternoon unnecessarily large Xmas lunch for us.
Followed by board games and more eating and drinking until late evening.
Most enjoyable but once a year is probably best for the body.

Yes, but have you got Keeley on side with that, Tes?

Colin ???

Lashing it down here and much colder. The dog didn't appreciate getting his feet wet.
I think I might have a PJ day.
It does look pretty at yours Gordon, but not so good when you want to get out.

8.15 today. 10 degrees.

Not a drop of water into the cisterns.. Just enough to wash the dust and shird bite off the roof.
Ho hum.
