Left Cheshire in sunshine and arrived in Dalbeattie in sunshine, the bit in between involved a lot of staycation holiday traffic, but that’s all forgotten now. Chairs out, GT’s poured ….. lovely CL with river fishing, might have to investigate later
Very peaceful here at Rutland I expected it to be rammed with rugrats now they are released from education but not so very quiet expect there all heading to the beaches of Devon and Cornwall.
In the Weald of Sussex, after a short spell of overnight thunder and lightning, we've reached the dizzy heights of 17° and thick cloud. Could be a lot worse.
Herts is also covered in cloud with a current temperature of about 17°C. The air is still and it's very humid, so I trimmed the huge wisteria which clings to the front of the house in the hope that we'll get another display of purple splendour and dose of soporific fragrance.
I'm as wet as if I'd stood out in torrential rain!
We had mostly sunny weather but one exceptionally heavy shower on the way to Farnham yesterday. Looks like mainly sunny with occasional heavy showers today. ️️️
We missed the predicted showers yesterday - and I'm hoping for a similar performance today here in Herts.
It's currently about 15°C and the sun is trying to widen it's influence on the skyscape with a gentle breeze wafting the fluffy clouds west to east.
So methinks a bit of grass management is in order as a first activity...............then a bike ride?
