What did you do to your van today?

We're on Heligan near Mevagissey at the mo lovely Shower Block well his onmaintained site hence £32 a night seems to be the normal for decent Touring Sites nowadays.

we love this place family owned not too far from you £24 a night heated swimming pool and spotless clean.

Each to their own I’d say. I’ve not felt ripped off touring Britain using a mix of wilding, CL and CS sites and an occasional pub or Britstop. Too much to do and see in our beautiful land to head elsewhere. Just hope to be fit enough to resume our travels one day!
hi . you give me the address of any Aire cl cs or pub stopovers where you can get FREE parking / water /dump/electric please like there is in Europe then i will use them . on the subject of rip off BRITSTOP a lot of those in that book they pinched from this site plus i bought the book many years ago & i still you them with out buying another https://www.google.com/maps/d/viewe...&ll=53.73589344515971,-1.8975499532073314&z=7 . As I said, each to their own. We regularly park for free, mainly for the nice locations rather than the savings. No need for hook up and rarely pay more than £10 per night when needing dump or water. I don’t mind paying for the Britstop book as it obviously has a production cost and works out at only a few pounds per night, even better when some of the farm shops have proved excellent. Though we rarely use them the CCC temporary holiday sites are often well located and very cheap. Finally, my favourite place to be is Britain, even though we do go to California for the weather at certain times.

Two additional solar panels (now 340W) and a victron mppt controller fitted, not by me I hasten to add. Soon be using my new vocabulary, just don't expect it to make sense🤣
I'm sure you'll feel that the two new solar panels will make your Van an ohm from ohm, eh watt? I'd normally expect to be for the high jump after a comment like that, but I'll settle for the pole volt ... :ROFLMAO: There you go, you can use me as a benchmark ... 'At least I know more [relevant] electrical terms than Marchie ...

Steve

Just back after tea from mot station, failed on slight play in both t rod ends, I always mis sumit, two ordered from flebay and here end of week on beginning of next, under £20 for two, cheap as chips. :)
Shame on you Trev, you are obviously not playing with your track rod end enough to notice the slight play , hence the fail. 🙄

I wish, no free tests or backhanders over here, had a mate work there but he failed me two years back for no pressure on r brakes and tail light to bright.
