Hi Harold on the photo that shows a roof rail you have another cross rail fastened to it with a wrap round bracket, is this something you have added, interested to know where I could get something similar?
All original Eric. No idea if they are current or if anyone has some they've taken off but I'm on a Hobby group so I'll ask.

Cheers

So, that’s two roof vents in.

Not a complete success because one of the blind assemblies has gone mammalian organs skywards. Can’t believe how crappy some of this motorhome gear is, given the prices. So now it’s a case of trying to get the thing exchanged.

Onwards and upwards. Happy Birthday to me. 🤬

hi winks. doing a job on van next week so had to go shopping instead got back & had one of these . cheyenne P.S see you have good taste in lamps
At the risk of this becoming a Tiffany lamp appreciation thread. Our lamp was bought in J C Penny’s in New England twenty years ago. The shade came home on my wife’s knee wrapped up in news paper. The base was in a case in the hold.

Today I took the habitation door apart to fix the internal lock. The locking bar had dropped inside the housing and so was u/s. Happened quite a while ago, but I was a bit cautious because of concern over whether aged plastic would be a bit fragile - mobile mechanic had not been keen on the idea..... In the event, didn't take long to carefully take apart, fix and reassemble.

Drove the van home after an enforced 6 month layup with a smile on my face. Started testing, and the trigger operated shower head cracked and fell to bits. Smile fell off face.

Installed a new working shower head, completed van checks, and all is well. Smile back on face.

Frankly, I suspect the fault wasn't frost damage, but one of us (🤔) repeatedly dropping the heavy metal head on the shower tray. The plastic replacement is a lot lighter and when it's dropped next time (😳) it's less likely to become stressed.
