What did you do to your van today?

Packed then repacked it all goes in nice and neat like a game of Tetris for the outward leg of a long trip then on the way back it’s tossed in any old way.😂 We’ll see how long it lasts. Im getting lazy I’m usually sorted at least a week ahead of a longer trip vans usually washed and polished. Getting to the age and stage i canny be bothered key in and Go.

Moved MH from front drive to rear garden, will begin three month + of bug splat from front of van today, power washer ready!!

Terry best way to get them off is to get a microfibre cloth and a bucket of really hot soapy water wet the cloth with this and leave cloth over the splated area for 5 minutes and they just wipe off without any effort.
I do have a couple of such cloths Wully. And a handy tip which I did not know about, thanks for this, I’ll give this a go using this method first. 👍🍻

I followed in the masters footsteps(Gordon the Laird) and washed the van, in preparation for the meet at Burton Bradstock.
After a week on the building site at Goosnargh it was covered in dust.
I've just got to spray the wheels with Gordon's magic spray then the outside will be sparkling.

Terry how did wully know about soap and water ,I think he is at the lash imho
he keeps going on aboot ma soggy sump maybe jealous
😀
Gordon, French customs have been warned and have both your reg numbers, so before both of you pass through, my advice would be to give your soggy sumps a wipe with an old dish towel.

I have it on good authority, my sump is more spongy than soggy............

Yes please would love some, We are on a ban so you holiday makers can come down and enjoy your self's at our expense :mad::mad:
Luckily us retired people don't have holidays, cause we don't work.
Also you're lucky where I live we have them there holiday makers all year round, not for a couple of months in the summer, when you want to wash your motorhome.
😆🙃😉😘

This being retired has its pitfalls, such as no Bank Holidays off and weekends being a continuum of the normal week ...

Do you oldies still look forward to Friday's ?😉
Yep, especially every 4th one; because the Monday is Pension Day ... :ROFLMAO:. Another one survived and part of my tax contributions reclaimed! Altough, given the way Elaine and I have hammered the NHS in the last 12 months, I think we're heading for a profit
