Got it ready for a night out, a pub/restaurant/B&B, The Sycamore Inn at Birch Vale, has 3 acres of land alongside the river where one can overnight if dining (it's in the Brit Stop book too) So Sue and I are off shortly for a birthday meal and a few scoops too then settle down for the night and pootle home in the morning (it's only half an hour away!!) I can test out out new pump up suspenders too !

We have EHU (and showers + mains toilets, WITH toilet paper! Plus elsan point for the overnight visits ... All for €10pn which is translating to £8.68pn). So I've recharged the toothbrushes and hoovered Brunhilde. Amazing how much extra muck is extracted compared to just brushing and bashing the carpets

After an unhappy time looking for alternatives to replace my Trojan T105's I decided to replace them with Lithium. The route I have taken is to assemble two 12volt batteries using four 200Ah cells in each. Each one will have it's own BMS. These should happily fit in the same location as the T105's. For keeping the chill off them I'll extend the Air eberspacher exhaust pipe to loop under them. Now to wait for that slow boat from china!

They turned up yesterday. A bit quicker than last time. Just top balancing them now, but they may be a little big for my application. So if anyone is looking for a 205Ah Lifepo4 12 volts with a 100Ah BMS I might have two for sale.

Finally found and cured a squearattle, you know, you're not sure whether it's a squeak or a rattle, and it was driving me insane. It's been getting worse each trip, at just about every speed. It turned out to be the Ducato accelerator pedal pivot, so a good squirt of Holt's silicon spray seems to have fixed it. Made sure not to get it on the pedal!

Took cycles out garage and put on charge
Then went to my sons house and fenced off the back garden so the kids are safe it’s a surprise for them as they’re on holiday in Poland

First time use of recently purchased RAC Ring 900 Compressor tyre inflator to put some air into front tyres. Bit of a faff accessing the Leisure Battery, but worked well. Much easier than using a footpump in the heat!

Thanks, Jeff. I use the Lithium to use some of the surplus power; and at the moment, we're up on tier 3 of the chocks, so I'd struggle to see over the grille, much less make connections!
