France/ Spain trip with possibly Portugal.

had the perfect day at the beach today sunbathing 20deg than a walk for miles along the seashore with all the dogs ( jeffs little roxy thinks she’s a wolfhound some attitude) came back had a lovely meal outside until 7:30 then just as we were clearing away i got a reflection of the magnificent sunsetA367F8E5-D74A-4543-BFC2-4F53E9F66654.jpeg in the window of the van

When we got back from the beach, we chilled out and had a beer and pompadoms, then Ken made a fantastic stroganoff with rice and chunky potatoe chips, washed down with red wine and a fruit salad for afters, what a perfect day with perfect company🌞🌞😎😎🐕🍷

paul will probably nip & see you next week with the essential supplies if the weathers crap we will leave the beach to lee

Rain rumoured for Tuesday, Ken.
If you're at Manta Rota, we could come out to visit you.?
We have a lady Chauffeurse until the month end.

officialy it’s parking not camping but theres lots of tables & chairs out also bbq etc someone got kicked off for having an awning out buts that’s really taking the michael , been coming here for about 5 years without problems even been here in september same then busy at weekends but fine any other time

as we returned from the beach and yet another bar & beer jeff noticed a german van with what appeared to be a solar water heating system on the roof ! unfortunately it had gone by the time i went back with my phone for a photo , it was an oblong around the roof rack of a pvc looked like 4” drain pipe there was some sort of monitoring system on top of the pipe , certainly enough sun here to make it viable but my old plumbing calculations used to be a foot of drain pipe holds 5 pints of water 30’ft around the roof rack would hold 150 pints of water and the old saw “a pint of water weighs a pound & a quarter “ that’s close on 2 cwt sitting at high level ,

Ken I've seen on you tube like a drain down pipe from a house with valves on it so people can have hot water and shower etc think it was on a land rover I also think it's becoming more popular ,think this might be the same thing
