Well as summer draws to a close in Cheshire, the clouds are building from the west but its been another day to enjoy, bike trip out with the grandkids this afternoon. On the bright side, the change in weather will help the garden and hopefully cool off the trout enough for them to be interested in feeding again

It’s been another hot day here Durham it clouded over about tea time but still warm and rain is forecast tonight

After overnight rain another perfect sunny day, if a bit cooler than of late. Making the most of it to take the van out, only within 5 miles to comply with the rules. 5 months since it’s moved.

Very cool and still raining here and has been most of the night so the garden will be overgrown again in a few days

It rained overnight and is overcast now. Forecast is to improve slightly during the day.

It's not stopping me wearing shorts though

Hertfordshire was cooler this morning than of late - so I've popped over to the Thames estuary with the Brompton in the boot of the car. Here I'll have some social distancing and some exercise.

Herts is grey this morning and it looks as if there may have been a drizzle of rain overnight. It's about 10°C now with a predicted high of perhaps 15°C, though no significant rain is expected today.
The grass is pretty brown and the fields are hard packed and cracked. It's frankly amazing how the crops manage to stay green and continue to grow.

Overcast here in Carmarthenshire. Possible chance of a shower apparently.

Rained on and off most of yesterday which meant I managed to do all the jobs on my indoor list in one day! Rain forecast for Saturday so I'll have to think of something to do then....

The rain arrived, gently and surreptitiously at 5 am.. Spot on timing by the forecasters, for over a fortnight.

Allowed 30 minutes, to wash the dust, dead insects and shird bite, off the roof, since the last rain 18 days ago
Nipped out , connected the cisterns up and back in bed without waking the Child Bride.
Due to clear this afternoon.
The neighbours will be very pleased to have lovely, refreshing rain in June.
That doesn't happen often ..

Excellent news Paul , here in Cheshire we have a family of great spotted woodpeckers being taught how to extract peanuts off the feeders. On the weather front, the overnight rain has cleared and patches of blue are starting to appear, clearly there will be a major weed explosion as result which is timely as our council's green waste collection is due to restart next week ...........
