Emptied the MH of all our stuff yesterday when we got back off our latest trip. Gave it a good clean inside ready for our next trip next Sunday.

Hopefully we can get a break in the rain this week and I'll give it a wash too.

Is taking things out of the house and into the van, a two way thing?
I must try that. Maybe then I’ll have something tidy to wear at home, and as a bonus, have some space in the van.😬
When I look at the amount of clothing full timers carry, especially couples, I’m embarrassed. There’s been stuff in this van since I’ve had it, I’ve never worn.
That’s going to give me more cupboard space. Now what can I put in ?🙄

Mainly clean clothes; dirty clothes; fridge stuff; and what remaining beer was left!

We always take too many clothes with us although its just shorts and t shirts for me at this time of the year....and loads of pants!

Mrs GMJ takes clothes for all weather eventualities as she really feels the cold plus likes to change her clothes more frequently than I (I see being away as a challenge over how long I can wear the same t shirt until Mrs GMJ tells me to change it! )

Got home at 7.30pm emptied and cleaned the toilet. Swapped dirty clothes and bedding for clean, ready for the off again tomorrow morning.

Apart from heavy shoes and a raincoat, my van is devoid of rubbish, never to fare away and only ever do a one nighter.

I had a Windscreen repair today, Auto Glass came to my home and fixed the chip, very good job, no sign of the chip now, hope it lasts, we stuffed the van today ready for the off tomorrow, going to a CCC THS at Cirencester for 5 nights £10 night so all good, there are also 3 follow on THS available 2 in the Cotswold and one at Henley on Thames so weather permitting we may go on to one or more of them, great weather here in Sunny Southampton today so that is a bonus too.

Also managed to mount my recently purchased satnav. Came without a mount so I've been waiting for this one coming from eBay. Good news is it works lovely, & holds it firmly in place....

After a small repair it passed its mot. Having had two wheel seams fail in two months it now has five new wheels. It’s also got two new tyres to replace ageing ones so hopefully set mechanically for another year.
Received a burner unit for the fridge so hopefully that problem too will soon be fixed. As the fridge is quite old the unit was difficult to obtain, but I got it from https://spares2repair.co.uk/ and had very good service.

The airbag warning light came on during our trip last week so managed to get our local friendly mechanic to plug in his scanner last night, and yes its the cursed Ducato airbag ecu error. So I'll be taking it off when we are back after a short trip next week and send it to CrashData for repair ....... cheaper than a new one !!

Well after 2 mechanic and AA .
ITS OFFICIAL. our van is poorly air bag module and seat belt tensioner u/s.
Booked in Peugeot specialists next week,, just saying good bye to a grand or 2 I saved up in lockdown.🤣🤣🤣🤣
