It’s the whole side of the van, they walked past it with a knife …. It wasn’t just our van, they done all the cars too parked on the road.
Thankfully the Monte Carlos have a squiggly decals on them so I tried my best to blend in, but if I’m honest it’s not great but better than it was. Was quoted over £1000 to get it sorted.
Your right it makes me mad too .. if only they knew how hard we worked to get that van, like most of us do

Got home from our wee trip out and removed the leaking cartridge from the Comet Florenz tap. See my "how-to" in the mechanical and technical section if its of interest.
Thread 'Comet florenz tap cartridge replacement how to' https://motorhomer.com/threads/comet-florenz-tap-cartridge-replacement-how-to.46113/
Now awaiting replacement and hope reassembly will indeed be simply a reversal of dismantling it all... fingers crossed

I think I have a split water pipe under the van somewhere, I think it may be in the Eberspacher Combitronic box. That WAS on the cards, but luckily it rained. So I am sitting here watching the wildlife! (local kids coming back in their what seems like hundreds, from the skate park!)

Setup some easy-to-view pages on my 'Home Assistant' setup that talks to the Victron gear but can see in a more friendly "at a glance" way when driving (at a suitable time, same as changing radio stations or what have you).

See what the B2B is doing?

Gauges with the key info (SOC and Current in/out) for the Battery Banks. Can scroll down to see the other gauges.

Handy page for the Solar and a weather forecast (actually based on your current location for wherever the Van is)

Went out to the shops today and tried these. Very easy to see and use and no more distracting then changing a radio station, as said.

Fitted a new door seal to the caset door , after removing and checking and cleaning the old seal looked perfect , it still leaked, fingers crossed new seal has sorted the leak ,,

Washed and polished the roof. A big old job and its shining like ten shiney things in the moonlight.
Just ready for the Swallows to return to begin their bombing runs:rolleyes: any time now...

Against my better judgement, I took the van to the local car wash boys.

Tomorrow my glamorous assistant and I will be treating it to a coat of Autoglym. They shifted some amount of crap off it but that TFR stuff is bloody viscous.

Cheers
