What did you do to your van today?

The brar is nearly there, make sure you use some sealant on the outside to keep water out, i always find the so called simple jobs take up the most time.

Out before 7AM today to avoid the queues to get the fuel tank filled.
£122 worth of premium diesel at £1.519/litre so worth it I think (last fueling was Friday ... £55 worth at £1.85/litre!)

Brought the rechargeable cupboard lights in with usb cable and charging them all up
washed out toilet cassette
brought jackory in 83% so charging that up
got some more harm interior led rope lights might fit them not sure incase it looks like a ice cream van === stop me and buy one 😡

Difference between the Ice Cream Bike and a contraceptive machine? 'Stop me and Buy one' v. 'Buy me and Stop one' ... (y) :ROFLMAO:

i’ve taken out the oven above the fridge freezer & fitted a microwave left the flue terminal in to act as a vent , my second job was the pan drawer under my sink has long & short side both sides had a 450mm drawer slide i’ve had to renew them once already and could tell they were wearing out again so for £30 i got a pair of heavy duty slides from amazon but this time i put both the 450 ones on the short side and both 550s on the long side this has made the drawer really robust now ,

You must have some batteries to power a micro wave oven.

I finally finished the Gaslow install, I'm far from happy with it but it'll have to do, the job itself is ok "two" large holes, 10 screws and two pipes to connect, just the ballache of fitting the filler when the instructions are crap from Gaslow.

I just spoke to technical at Gaslow, they were not aware that you need to drill a larger hole internally if you are fitting into a gas locker in an insulated wall, nor that you would have to drill the pilot hole for both holes and drill the inner hole prior to drilling the outer 70mm hole. I thought it was just not proofread properly but they are just ignorant of it apparently.

Roof bars off and placed in the garage with the other 4 sets from various vehicles over the years.
Choose the cupboard paint colour for the over-winter refurb. (OK Mrs A chose)

Lest its now in place and in time will cost less to fill. mine has alugas bottles, just have to fit the external filler soon.

I've bought the equivalent of some 111kg Refillable Gas in 2 years [and will need to refill 1 bottle before the next trip, so say 120Kg to date]. The 120kg will have cost me around £195, whereas 20 x 6kg bottles would have cost at least £500. That makes my saving £305 on gas, against an initial outlay of £848.73, so a wee way to go before breakeven. But the biggest benefit is the convenience of being able to top up with 3 or 4Kg of LPG when passing a garage with an LPG Pump, and not have to lift almost empty bottles in and out of the gas cupboard; and, having paid through the nose for a 6Kg Calor, the knowledge that you're probably giving them back 15% of the gas when exchanging bottles to avoid running out of gas
