What did you do to your van today?

1, Sealed all round
I could have fitted it in any aspect, decided a drop down would be best. That way, if I fitted a check strap, I'd have a shelf.

2, Look at Gordon's reply. Might look at diagonal strips though.
Having it make a shelf seem like a great idea, you should be able to cook on it, with one of your many stoves.

Or fit some more battery’s for his many cooking gadgets 😂😂

Not Gadget John, more Try Out Trotter 🖕
I think the battery situation is not going to change in the near future. What I have are working okay for the time being. Yes I know, famous last words. But while the LCA’s are holding up, I’ll stay as I am. If they start messing around, I’ll ditch them and increase or renew the lithium.
No pockets in a shroud.
Now, as for cooking. On recommendation from GJ, I’ve got a Hytric cooking pot. Did last night’s dinner on it for Nic and me. Seems to work well. Ideal for one, if doing a one pot meal. It would be okay if cooking part of the meal, if cooking for two or more.
On my last night at Goosenaugh, I blew the fuse on the inverter. I know I’m under cabled, but I rarely use more than 2000w. Not thinking, I had the hot plate on full, 1200w, microwave @800w, decided a cup of tea was in order, put the kettle on, phut ! Nothing. Silly me, I said. Something like that anyway.
Finished it on the gas.
This new cooking pot max’s out at 800w. So as long as I wait until the microwave beeps before I put the kettle on, life should be a goodun 😬

If I knew how. Although I reckon I could find the one of the girl playing tennis, scratching her bum.
Seeing it in the flesh, okay aluminium, will be my Christmas present to you. You'll get sod all else.

Took bikes off the Carrier for check and lubrication; used Henchman Ladders to reach the High Brake Light Moulding and remove the moss that had taken root in the 2 months since our trip to the New Forest. Emptied the cupboards to check for any bits of missing kit; refilling will take place over the week before departure, depending upon daytime temperatures. Too cold to contemplate washing Brunhilde just yet!

Brought in the salt bags for damp and put them through the m wave to dry out, now back out where they keep my baby dry.

Well ... I bow to your memory but it does not seem to agree with the Daily Wail .... Who can disagree with the accuracy of that revered rag? Tee Hee!

We had that poster in the Common Room at school - and I left in 1972!

Let me put it this way.
This poster was above my bed for a couple of years, in Robert’s Barracks, Osnabruck. I left the Army in 1975.
Wiki is not always correct.
sure it wasn't this one?
