What did you do to your van today?

Filled up LPG [Gauge registering at the bottom of the red line but only managed to get 17.42 Litres @ 89.7p per litre [less than 9kg, so I must have had over 2kg of gas left] and filled up with diesel. Checked fluid levels and tyre pressures. Cleaned surface rust off ebike gears and discs and sprayed PTFE to ease chain links etc. Made a couple of impromptu mods to the Hindemann Bike Cover to allow water/spray to drain freely [Cover is backless for ease of fitting but the rain water does fill up the wheel channels without draainage holes] and to allow metal Warning Plate to sit squarely in the plastic viewing window. Henchman Ladders were a godsend, and will be sorely missed when we have only the caravan step for the dismount of the bikes

Tomorrow set for repacking food, clothing and cleaning M/Home interior ready for the off early on Friday morning

Dun nuffin like that. Oh! Did turn the heater on 🤯
Sorry Steve. Too much information sometimes.😀

Went in the van and took out 2 pairs of Linda's shoes, one pair grey with bows on the front size 7 the other pair were a lighter grey with flower size 7, bought in Ilkeston, when we had the van furniture recovered.
I found a pair of my shoes size 15 in brown so I got them as well.
Came out locked it and return to the warmth of the house.
Sorry Steve I may have precis this a bit.

Packed up all the goodies requested by expat friends.....managed to fit some stuff in for me too! Xmas presents wrapped and stowed. Just got the perishable and Dave's "can't do without" bits and a few tools. Left a space for last minute stuff, all charged up, filled with fuel. Had to do it today as completing on new house Friday so got to sort that before we leave for Portugal on sunday.

I did precis my Post, Lee. I omitted the bit about searching for the supplementary bungee straps to tighten up the Bike Cover. There they were, hiding under some Fibre Cloths in the Passenger Door Pocket. It's always the last place one looks that contains the missing item, I find ...

And I omitted all reference to the previous day's shopping for shoes for the trip ... I could barely contain my indifference, despite grabbing the last 2 pairs of deck shoes, each for less than £30, and an end of line pair of trainers for use when riding the bike. Life in the fast lane, don'tcha know :ROFLMAO:

Wow! I’m impressed.
I’ve also found that I’m able to find stuff in the last place I look. I’ve managed to get around this by looking in the last place, first.

What did I do yesterday.
My Mppt controller failed on my last trip. Replaced with a new one under guarantee.
I wasn’t given any clue as to why it had failed. So I rubbed my two brain cells together and came up with this.
As it was located in the wardrobe, probably covered in clothes, maybe it wasn’t getting enough airflow. I’ve moved it from the bottom of the wardrobe to the top, where it’s in an open area, above coat hangers. There’s now a right angled 12 volt fan, on a switch, that I can turn on when the temperature rises.
Hopefully that will help it work more efficiently.
