What did you do to your van today?

We don’t get any drafts in the rear doors! We do have a shower curtain hanging there to stop the rain hitting the bed

Lots of condensation on front screens and cab door windows, and running the engine from cold and waiting for it to warm up enough to clear the mist is not good for the engine/dpf

Solution is to place an old towel over the instrument binnacle to catch the water drops, and use a window cleaning blade to remove the moisture. Then fold the towel so that it can be wedged behind the Remis Blind liners to catch the condensation drops before they disappear into the door mechanisms/ electric window switches etc. Low tech and simple to do, so perfect for me!

I've just picked up the van from having it Mot'd.
It passed and now it's ready for Portugal, we'll it needs packing.
Left Scotland Friday morning, managed to bring ferry date forward to Saturday 1700 sailing, and arrived in Dieppe 2300. Overnight on Carrefour Mini Market Car Park, quick shop for journey food and water, then on to Orleans (Meung sur Loire) Aire for Sunday night. Today reached La Bastide en Murat Aire (another Carrefour Mini Market) but water facilities vandalised ...
Driven almost 1000 miles and still cannot shake off the rain! Monsoon and headwinds all the way! Should reach Vilafranca del Pinedes by Wednesday, and the search for sun can begin ...

Cleared the rear drips and working on a friends drive so just happy to get insulation in ! Will sort rust protection in the spring

You really would expect there to be have something there!
Is that the Recycled Bottle insulation from B&Q you put in there? Looks just like the stuff I put in my conversions and I think works very well and doesn't retain any moisture.

Did a bit of an Audio upgrade on the Motorhome.... Fitted a DAB+ receiver onto the Android Head Unit, then connected it to the standard Radio Aerial with a splitter for reception.

Seems to work well so far (only tried sitting on the Driveway so far) and the App is reporting 4 bars or a full 5 bars of reception which is very promising

If anyone interested and has an Android unit, this is the kit I bought and fitted ...

I also used a short USB Lead to fit this as it would stick out the back of the my head unit if I plugged it in directly. I already had this, but would recommend getting one if you didn't have something suitable already. This is the one I used - https://amzn.to/3GGSUeE

Aerial Splitter - https://amzn.to/3RmOLkN

SMA-SMB Converters - https://amzn.to/46UStbd
You only need one of the four, but a set of 4 different ones made sure I would have the right one.

That looks about about right for the so call professional builder's sorry to say.
I have seen a couple of panel van, factory builds that don’t have insulation on the front curved bit of roof. Don’t know how representative that is though
